Domaine Jamet is one of the great names of the Northern Rhône, renowned for producing some of Côte Rôtie's finest and most sought after Syrahs - wonderfully aromatic, pure, elegant, ageworthy wines.

The Côtes du Rhône 2023 offers a superb introduction to the Jamet style at a considerably more accessible price. Made entirely from Syrah grown on the slopes above Ampuis, just outside the Côte Rôtie appellation, it is matured for around 12 months in seasoned oak barrels. The 2023 is fresh and expressive, with ripe cherry and plum fruit, floral notes and a touch of peppery spice. Medium-bodied, supple and beautifully balanced, it combines fine tannins with refreshing acidity and a gently savoury finish. An elegant, characterful Northern Rhône Syrah that offers excellent drinking now and over the coming years.
