Dom Perignon

Dom Pérignon has long been one of the ultimate celebration wines – reserved for the moments that really matter. Yet behind the famous name and unmistakable bottle is a serious, age-worthy fine wine, made only in exceptional vintages and capable of evolving beautifully for decades.   Always produced as a vintage Champagne, each release is an interpretation of a single harvest through Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with no wine made in years that fall short of the required standard.

Named after the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon, who worked at the Abbey of Hautvillers in the late 17th century, the wine reflects his historic pursuit of quality through careful vineyard selection and blending. While the famous claim that he "invented Champagne" is largely legend, his influence on the development of the region is considerable.

Dom Pérignon Vintage is the classic expression: precise, intense and capable of evolving beautifully for decades. Younger vintages show citrus, stone fruit, flowers and mineral freshness, gradually developing layers of brioche, toast, smoke, spice and savoury complexity.

Dom Pérignon Rosé is rarer, richer and more vinous, with a greater emphasis on Pinot Noir bringing red fruit, spice, structure and depth. P2 - Plénitude 2 explores another dimension altogether, with selected vintages given considerably longer ageing in the Maison's cellars before release, developing greater complexity and intensity while retaining remarkable freshness and energy.

Dom Pérignon also has a long association with contemporary art, with limited editions created alongside figures including Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Lady Gaga and Jean-Michel Basquiat. These collaborations give particular vintages a distinctive and often highly collectible presentation while leaving the wine itself at the heart of the release.
