Produced only in years that the House believes reveal the true character of a vintage, Dom Pérignon is one of Champagne's most iconic prestige cuvées.  A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the finest Grand Cru vineyards, aged extensively on its lees to create a Champagne of extraordinary depth, precision and longevity.  The 2004 vintage benefited from a long, even growing season, producing a wine of exceptional balance, elegance and aromatic precision and it is a big favourite of ours.

Bright golden in colour with a fine, persistent mousse, the nose reveals aromas of lemon drizzle cake, invigorating green apple, lemon and pear, complemented by delicate notes of toasted brioche and honeycomb. The palate is beautifully refined, with a luxurious, caressing mouthfeel balanced by vibrant acidity and chalky minerality. Long, elegant and wonderfully poised, it finishes with remarkable freshness and precision.

"Another stellar wine, the 2004 Dom Pérignon is just starting to show the first signs of aromatic development, as well as a bit of added weight it did not have as a young wine. The 2004 remains a bright, mid-weight DP built on persistence and length more than overt volume. I have always had a soft spot for the 2004.
