2008 Pommard 1er Cru Fremiers, Domaine de Courcel

"A gentle touch of wood frames a densely fruited and relatively high-toned red pinot fruit nose replete with notes of stone and crushed herb, both of which can be found on the rich, full and impressively scaled flavors that are underpinned by ripe and relatively fine tannins on the exceptionally rich, mouth coating and explosive finish.
