A classic mature Sauternes from the excellent 2007 vintage. Chateau Bastor Lamontagne is known for a fresher, more elegant expression of Sauternes, balancing luscious sweetness with bright acidity. Now beautifully evolved, with notes of honey, marmalade, dried apricot and candied citrus, alongside touches of saffron, vanilla and gentle spice.  Rich and rounded, yet retaining enough freshness to keep the finish lively and balanced.  Pairs well with foie gras, blue cheese or fruit-based desserts.
