1989 Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge

"The 1989 Rouge is a fabulous wine. Deep, rich and powerful, the 1989 has aged so well. All the elements are so impeccably balanced. Black cherry, leather, spice, menthol and licorice are some of the notes that develop with a bit of air. The 1989 possesses remarkable depth for a wine of its age. It would be a shame to miss it at this stage, so I would not take too many chances on extended cellaring. Drink 2020-2025."  Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com
