Château Doisy Daëne is one of the great names of Barsac and has been in the hands of the Dubourdieu family since 1924. Over four generations, and particularly under the stewardship of the late Denis Dubourdieu - one of Bordeaux's most influential winemakers, researchers and consultants - the château has become a benchmark for the elegant, finely balanced style of Barsac.

Planted predominantly with Sémillon on Barsac's distinctive limestone and clay soils, Doisy Daëne produces sweet wines renowned for their purity, freshness and precision. Hand-harvested through multiple passes to capture perfectly botrytised fruit, the wines combine honeyed citrus, stone fruit and floral complexity with vibrant acidity and remarkable ageing potential. Defined more by finesse than power, Doisy-Daëne remains one of Bordeaux's most compelling and consistently rewarding sweet wine estates.
