Macán Clásico is a beautifully polished Rioja from the collaboration between Vega Sicilia and Benjamin de Rothschild, bringing together two of the great names in fine wine. Produced from Tempranillo grown in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria in Rioja Alavesa, it combines the richness and depth of Rioja with the elegance, precision and refinement for which both estates are renowned.

Rich and expressive, Macán Clásico offers ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum fruit, complemented by notes of cedar, sweet spice, tobacco and subtle oak. The palate is generous yet beautifully balanced, with fine, silky tannins, refreshing acidity and a long, savoury finish. A sophisticated, modern expression of Rioja that offers both immediate appeal and excellent ageing potential.  Excellent with roast lamb, grilled steak, slow cooked beef, game or mature Manchego.
