2013 Batard Montrachet Grand Cru, Bernard Moreau et Fils (Magnum)

"A complex and highly layered nose features notes of acacia blossom, spiced pear, green apple and a hint of the exotic that is trimmed in soft oak nuances. The rich, full and powerful big-bodied flavors brim with dry extract that coats the mouth on the driving and muscular finish that stains the palate and delivers seriously good length. This too will need at least 4 to 5 years to develop depth but the potential is clearly here to reward all of a decade and perhaps a few years more.  Drink 2023+"  Allen Meadows, Burghound
