Classic Chablis from Domaine Roy
Domaine Roy is tucked away in the quintessential Burgundian village of Fontenay-près-Chablis with a history stretching back over 200 years to 1810. The modern domaine was established by Fernand Roy and remains firmly in family hands, now run by Claude Roy alongside the next generation, David and Karine. Their 20 hectares lie exclusively on the right bank of the Serein, producing the full range of Chablis; from Petit Chablis through to Premier Cru sites such as Fourchaume and Vaulorent, and Grand Crus including Les Bourgros and Les Preuses.
The wines are classic in style: bright and fruit-driven yet underpinned by the minerality and stony precision that define Chablis, with a fresh, zesty citrus profile and excellent food versatility. Try pairing the wines with fresh oysters or prawns, grilled white fish, lemon & thyme roast chicken or a simple goat’s cheese salad – all marry beautifully with the freshness, minerality and elegance of these Chablis.
