2018 Jean-Pierre Moueix Bordeaux Rouge

Crimson red with subtle nuances of strawberry, liquorice, spice and forest floor.  Supple with well integrated tannins and a long, fresh finish.  A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Right bank of Bordeaux.  The Mouiex family are Right bank royalty with a formidable reputation for quality, a legacy born from a passion for expressing the finest fruit from the world's great terroirs including Château La Fleur-Pétrus, Château Trotanoy, and Château Hosanna in Pomerol; Château Bélair-Monange Premier Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Émilion; and, in Napa Valley, California, Dominus Estate and Ulysses.
