2018 Syrah EQ Cool Climate, Matetic – Silky, full bodied, cool climate Syrah from San Antonio with smoky dark fruits and spice.
2020 Le Difese, Tenuta San Guido – Beautifully balanced Super Tuscan from the producers of Sassicaia. Packed with red cherry fruit, sweet spice and grilled Mediterranean herbs (70% Cab Sav, 30% Sangiovese).
2016 Jean-Pierre Moueix Medoc Rouge – A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc with complex cassis, rich dark fruit, liquorice and spice. Classic claret from a top Bordeaux vintage.
2018 Hautes Cotes de Nuits Blanc de Poirelotte, Laurent Roumier – La Poirelotte Blanc comes from a tiny 0.71 ha parcel of Chardonnay on chalky limestone slopes above Chambolle Musigny. Elegant and aromatic with wonderful ripe orchard fruit, white flowers, spice and delicate hazelnut on the finish.
2022 Louro de Bolo, Rafael Palacios – A straw colour with intense aromas of citrus fruits, wild mountain flowers, hints of fennel and flinty nuances. On the palate, it is fruit-forward supported by a taut, saline minerality and a textural complexity.
2022 Kloof Street Old Vine Chenin Blanc, Mullineux – Excellent Chenin Blanc from one of South Africa’s most exciting producers. Pale straw in colour, this wine has a nose of sun ripened pears and wet granite. The palate has a vibrant acidity balanced by a soft, round texture and some pithy character.
