Created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, Cristal remains one of the world's most iconic prestige cuvées. Produced only in exceptional vintages from Louis Roederer's finest Grand Cru vineyards, it is crafted from a meticulous blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay before undergoing extended ageing in the House's cellars. The 1997 vintage produced a beautifully generous and approachable Cristal, combining the hallmark finesse of the House with a richness and charm that has developed superbly over nearly three decades.
