The family's historic La Meirana estate, first documented in 972 AD, lies at the heart of the appellation and today comprises over 70 hectares of contiguous Cortese vineyards. Produced entirely in stainless steel and aged on its lees for six months, La Meirana is the estate's flagship wine, capturing the freshness, purity and distinctive almond-tinged character that has made Gavi one of Italy's finest food wines.

Bright straw yellow with lifted aromas of citrus blossom, green apple, pear and white peach. The palate is crisp, elegant and beautifully balanced, combining ripe orchard fruit with zesty lemon freshness and a subtle saline minerality. Lees ageing adds a gentle creaminess without detracting from the wine's precision, while the hallmark almond note lingers on the long, refreshing finish.
