2013 Montpeyroux, Domaine d`Aupilhac

"Starting with the 2013 Languedoc Montpeyroux d’Aupilhac, this medium to full-bodied blend of Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan and Grenache offers ample black and blue fruits, damp earth and peppery herbs in a pure, mouth-filling, rounded style. Mostly destemmed and aged 11 months by variety in demi-muids, followed by 11 more months blended together in foudre, it should keep nicely through 2023.  Drink 2017-2023.  I found all three of these 2013s from Domaine d’Aupilhac to be outstanding."  Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate, Apr 2016
