"Impressive saturated red-ruby color. Currant and rose petal aromas hint at a near-porty superripeness. Superconcentrated and dense but sappy, with a velvety old-vines texture and great solidity. Roasted, liqueur-like fruit borders on exotic. A headspinning, powerful Clos de Beze that finishes with suave tannins and rich flavors of cherry, smoke and earth.
