Mazis Chambertin is known for producing wines of depth, structure, and a slightly more rugged, powerful profile compared with some of its neighbouring crus.  The 1995 vintage was a strong, classic year in Burgundy, favouring firm structure and longevity, and many wines from this harvest were built to age gracefully over decades.
