The Names Bond...
Few partnerships in the wine world are as iconic as Champagne Bollinger and James Bond. Ever since a bottle first appeared in Ian Fleming’s Diamonds Are Forever (1956), Bollinger has become inseparable from 007’s world of elegance, precision and understated luxury. It has featured in every Bond film since 1973, cementing its place as the spy’s Champagne of choice.
Bollinger’s rich, Pinot Noir led style - powerful yet refined - makes it the perfect match for Bond’s famously impeccable taste. Over the years, the House has released a series of beautifuly packaged limited edition cuvées celebrating this unique partnership. The 002 for 007, created for the 50th anniversary of the Bond films, is housed in a case modelled on a Walther PPK gun silencer, complete with a “007” combination lock whilst the 2009 is presented in a bespoke metal chill box inspired by James Bond’s classic tuxedo and designed to keep the bottle cool for two hours.
These rare Bollinger 007 editions are pieces of cinematic history, iconic bottles, and the perfect gift for any 007 enthusiast.
