"The impressive 2009 Vacqueyras Vieilles Vignes (70% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 15% Mourvedre from 6-year-old vines) exhibits deep black cherry and blackberry fruit intermixed with notions of licorice, barbecue smoke, roasted herbs and charcuterie. A dense purple color, terrific fruit, lofty glycerin levels, low acidity and sweet tannin suggest it should be drunk over the next 7-8 years. Drink 2011-2019."  Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate
