2006 Chateau Fourcas Dupre, Listrac

Located between Moulis and Saint-Julien, the Château Fourcas Dupré vineyard covers a single estate of 47.2 hectares. It is composed of more than 80% Pyrenean gravel, along with clayey, chalky and clay-limestone subsoils. This “Pyrenean gravel” terroir is unique in the Médoc and provides the wines with a very distinctive character – minerality, complexity, smoky and toasty notes on the palate, and finally a remarkable aptitude for ageing.
