2018 Hautes Cotes De Nuits Blanc La Poirelotte, Laurent Roumier

It is no surprise that Laurent Roumier makes great Burgundy, he is the grandson of the famous Georges Roumier and his Father, Alain, was the cellar master at Comte Vogue for 30 years!  The original plots for the estate were rented from Domaine Georges Roumier.  La Poirelotte Blanc comes from a tiny 0.71 ha parcel of Chardonnay on chalky limestone slopes above Chambolle Musigny.  Elegant and aromatic with wonderful ripe orchard fruit, white flowers, spice and delicate hazelnut on the finish.
