The palate is silky and finely textured, with lovely freshness, delicate tannins and impressive depth and length. The approachable, charming character of the 2017 vintage makes this a particularly attractive example of village Gevrey Chambertin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\"\u003cspan\u003eThe 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village comes from four sectors, 50% in the south and 50% in the north of the appellation, and was completely de-stemmed. This shows just a bit of reduction on the nose, although that will be resolved by bottling time.
