"The 2018 Volnay Robardelle 1er Cru comes from a parcel of vines planted in 1926 that are very low-yielding. The bouquet is fragrant and floral, wilted iris petals infusing the black cherries and bilberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with lithe, supple tannins, fresh and focused, with just the right amount of edginess and sapidity toward the finish to beckon you back for another sip.
