2012 Prunelart Cotes du Tarn, Domaine Plageoles

The Plageoles are one of the oldest winemaking families in Gaillac, refining their techniques through the generations and producing some of the regions finest wines.  The Prunelart grape used here is a close relative of Malbec and was well known in the 16th century before it was virtually wiped out by phylloxera.
