2015 Bourgogne Rouge, Domaine Bachelet-Monnot

Delicious ripe red fruit with raspberry, currant, strawberry and cranberry. Soft and rounded with fine tanins, good acidity and a flavourful finish. Fantastic value Burgundy from this up and coming Domaine.

Alec and Marc Bachelet are the brothers at the helm of this relatively young Domaine and they have already gained serious attention and respect with their terroir-driven approach in the vineyard and the cellar. They work sustainably with the added advantage of low-yielding old vines, making naturally concentrated, pure wines that express their terroir. These are some of the best value wines in the whole of the Côte d'Or.
