2020 Nizza Bansella, Prunotto

From the Nizza sub-zone, which gives the ripest, highest-quality in the Asti region in Piedmont. Superbly smooth tannins and greatly balanced acidity lighten up this full-bodied wine from the legendary estate.  100% Barbera, Bansella is an intense ruby red color. Rich and fruity on the nose with notes of dark fruit, floral aromas, and hints of licorice. The palate is soft and supple, defined by an excellent balance between freshness and acidity.
