2020 El Enemigo Malbec – Full bodied Malbec from Mendoza with darky berry fruit, violets, lavender, coffee and vanilla. Sweet with smooth silky tannins and a vibrant acidity.
2018 Il Bruciato, Guado Al Tasso – Approachable, food-friendly Super Tuscan from Antinori packed with soft supple black fruit, spice and tobacco (55% Cab Sav, 30% Merlot and 15% Syrah).
2016 Jean-Pierre Moueix Medoc Rouge – A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc with complex cassis, rich dark fruit, liquorice and spice. Classic claret from a top Bordeaux vintage.
2020 Bourgogne Blanc, Sylvain Bzikot – A classic, clean and fresh Chardonnay from vines just outside of Puligny Montrachet. Waxy green apple, papaya, citrus, almond, brioche and a fine mineral finish.
2022 Albarino, Zarate – Elegant and refreshing Albarino straight from the wild coasts of Galicia. This has a beautiful minerality with vibrant citrus, creamy peach and apricot and a tingling almost salty finish. A great match for seafood.
2022 Kloof Street Old Vine Chenin Blanc, Mullineux – Excellent Chenin Blanc from one of South Africa’s most exciting producers. Pale straw in colour, this wine has a nose of sun ripened pears and wet granite. The palate has a vibrant acidity balanced by a soft, round texture and some pithy character.
